Two teenagers were taken to hospital following a crash Friday night in Saskatoon.
Police said they were called at 11:34 p.m. CST to the intersection of McOrmond and Attridge drives.
The city's fire and rescue team were called to the scene to extract two 16-year-old males from one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
The two youths were taken to hospital.
Police reported that one of them had suffered serious injuries in the crash and would require surgery. The other youth was treated for minor injuries.
The accident was still under investigation.
There was no word on who was in the other vehicle nor who was driving the car in which the teens were hurt.
