Two Regina children and a mother are recovering after falling through an icy creek in the northwest part of the city.
It happened after 1 p.m. CST behind Ruth M. Buck School.
Police said an 11-year-old and an 8-year-old along with the mom were pulled out of the knee deep water.
Crews said they were quickly out of the water and were examined by ambulance personnel.
At the time they went into the creek, the air temperature was about -17 C.
The Regina Police Service wants to remind everyone to stay off frozen lakes, creeks and streams. Although ice may look solid it can often be thin or cracked.
