Two people are dead following a three-vehicle highway collision near Rosetown, Sask. Sunday night.

RCMP say two cars initially crashed head-on Highway 7, approximately 14 kilometres west of Rosetown before 9 p.m. CST. Afterwards, a minivan was struck by one of those cars. 

The 17-year-old driver of one car, a boy from Kindersley, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, another 17-year-old boy from Kindersley, was taken to hospital in Saskatoon in critical condition. 

The driver of the other car, a 20-year-old woman from Tilley, Alberta, was being taken to hospital when she was pronounced dead. 

RCMP have not said how many people were in the minivan, but they were all released from hospital shortly after the crash with minor injuries. 

Officers and traffic reconstructionists are still investigating what happened.
