Two 13-year-old boys have been charged with arson in connection with three fires that caused thousands of dollars worth of damage in Saskatoon.

Investigators found that the three fires were deliberately set.

The first one broke out around 6 p.m. Tuesday at a house under construction on the 100 block of 109th St. W.

The second was reported just before 9:30 p.m. the same night. A garbage bin on the 1000 block of Egbert Ave. had been set ablaze.

The third fire happened around 7 a.m. the next morning at another house under construction on the 300 block of 111th St. W.

A brief investigation led police to the two 13 year olds, who are now each charged with three counts of arson.

They were scheduled to appear in provincial court on Thursday.
