Police in Regina say an 18-year-old woman has died in hospital following rollover on Tuesday morning.

Two people were rushed to hospital this morning after their vehicle hit a curb and rolled over.

Police say a Mercedes lost control on a curve, flipped, and collided with the concrete pillar of a CP Rail overpass around 1:20 a.m. CST.

The driver had been heading west on Saskatchewan Drive and tried to merge north onto Lewvan Drive, police said.

A 21-year-old man and the 18-year-old woman were trapped in the vehicle until fire crews could rescue them.

The 21-year-old man is believed to be in serious condition, according to investigators.

Police are still investigating the crash.
