A man is dead and two other men are injured following a shooting Tuesday night in Regina's west end.

Several police cars and ambulances converged on the 600 block of Williams St. just after 8:45 p.m. CST.

A man was found dead at the scene.

A person in the neighbourhood told CBC News he saw a man staggering out of a home.

Ashton Strong says he was there when officers arrived.

"Looked down the street and there's a guy screaming," Strong said. "And then the one cop yells at him and is like, 'You've been shot dude. You need to come and lay down on the ground.'"

That victim and another man, also suffering from a gunshot wound, were taken to hospital.

Police haven't released the name or age of the man who died.

It's the city's third homicide of 2014.

Police are asking people with information to call the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
