1 dead, 2 injured in crash near Sturgeon Lake First Nation
A 24-year-old man from Sturgeon Lake First Nation was declared dead at the scene
One man is dead and two others are seriously injured after an early morning vehicle crash near the Sturgeon Lake First Nation.
Prince Albert RCMP responded to a 911 call at about 2:45 a.m. CST Sunday.
A 24-year-old man from Sturgeon Lake First Nation was declared dead at the scene of the crash.
A 19-year-old woman was immediately airlifted to Saskatoon and a 23-year-old man was transported to Prince Albert before also being airlifted to Saskatoon.
RCMP say the woman is in stable condition, and the injured 23-year-old is in serious condition.
Next of kin has been notified, but police will not be releasing the name of the deceased man at this time.
RCMP continue to investigate what caused the crash, but say it’s possible alcohol was a factor.
The Sturgeon Lake First Nation is located roughly 50 kilometres northwest of Prince Albert.
