Riding profile

riding map

Lévis comprises the northern half of the Quebec City suburb of the same name, which lies across the river from the provincial capital. The riding was created in the 1850s and lost more than half its territory in the 2011 boundary revisions.

Political history

Lévis was solid Parti Québécois territory from 1976 to 2003, when the Liberals won it, only to lose it in 2007 to the Action Démocratique du Québec. The Liberals took it back in 2008.
