Riding profile
Located at the eastern end of Quebec's Montérégie region, east of Montreal, Johnson includes the communities of Acton Vale, Béthanie, Durham-Sud, Sainte-Cécile-de-Milton, Sainte-Hélène-de-Bagot, Saint-Joachim-de-Shefford, Upton and Wickham. The riding was created for the 1973 election and has been adjusted several times since. In 2011, it underwent a major redistribution, losing about half its eastern territory and gaining a bit of the old riding of Drummond to the north.
