Woman, 60, facing impaired driving charges after crash
No one was injured in crash
Charlottetown police say a 60-year-old woman is spending the weekend in jail after a vehicle crash on Malpeque Road.
Police say they received a call Friday night at 9:40 p.m. about a collision at the intersection of Malpeque Road and the Trans-Canada Highway.
When police arrived they found one of the drivers, a 60-year-old Charlottetown woman, was impaired. They arrested her, and she was brought to the provincial jail.
She's scheduled to appear in court this week.
Both vehicles were damaged, but no one was injured in the crash.
