Two vehicles crashed in Mount Albion Thursday, hurtling them into a gas station fuel pump, RCMP say.

The collision occurred at about 12:30 p.m. In a news release Cst. Jamie Parsons of Stratford RCMP said a vehicle travelling from Route 5 collided with a vehicle travelling on Route 1.

“The momentum of the collision carried the vehicles into the parking lot of the Irving gas station and colliding with one of the fuel pumps,” RCMP said in the press release.

“Due to the quick response of the Irving employee in pushing the emergency shut-off valve from inside, no further injuries were sustained.”

One man received non-life-threatening injuries. Police are investigating and say “possible charges are pending.”
