Charlottetown police search for robbers

Thieves broke into a Charlottetown house and stole collectible bills and coins worth thousands of dollars Thursday, police say.

The woman who owned the collection was at work when robbers entered her home on Bolger Drive around 9 a.m. and stole the goods. That included $1,000 bills, some new and some old.

All the items were in mint condition. The thieves also stole a Mac laptop.

Police are searching for the robbers and ask anyone with information to call police or Crime Stoppers.
