A 40-year-old man on P.E.I. faces several weapons-related charges following an incident Wednesday involving swords.
RCMP say they were called to investigate a family disturbance at a home Wednesday afternoon in central PEI. A man on the scene brandishing what police describe as two samurai swords refused to listen to the officers. The officers used a taser on the man and took him into custody.
The man is still in custody and faces charges of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and resisting arrest.
The investigation continues.
