Storm cancels outdoor Winter Fun Festival events

Charlottetown's scaled-down winter carnival was scaled back even further on Sunday due to the weather.
The Winter Fun Festival began on Saturday with a sliding hill, sleigh rides and skating in Victoria Park.
However all outdoors activities planned for Sunday are cancelled.
Organizers said indoor events, including free skating and a family swim, are still on.
The Winter Fun Festival replaced the Jack Frost Festival.
For nine years the Jack Frost festival was run by Tourism Charlottetown, which no longer puts on events.
