Small fuel deliveries bring company success

Feasible Fuels started up last year, and is adding a new truck to meet the demand. Owner Jeff Mellish now has an office and a second truck he hopes to use for deliveries soon. Mellish told CBC News Wednesday demand has increased and he now has thousands of regular customers.
The tight economy is likely the reason why so many people are looking for smaller fuel deliveries, he said.
The company will deliver as little as 100 litres of fuel to people's homes, which costs about $115. Most large fuel companies will only deliver half a tank or more. Mellish said he's able to deliver smaller amounts because he has less overhead, and gets payment up front. If fuel companies were to drop their minimum deliveries, said Mellish, it could hurt his business. But he believes he has a loyal customer base that would stick with him.
