Montague RCMP are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Tuesday morning at the temporary Tim Hortons location in the town.
RCMP said a man with a weapon entered the trailer shortly before 3 a.m.
"There were no threats made. He asked for the cash and once the clerk working there saw the weapon she turned over the cash and then the individual fled through the front door," said RCMP Sgt. Andrew Blackadar.
"At this point we are not disclosing the actual weapon that was used."
Blackadar said the man's face was covered so police don't have a good description. The suspect is slim and about 5'8". The police dog was brought in to help with the investigation but lost the trail. Video surveillance tape is being reviewed.
Anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
