A P.E.I. girl had a dream come true this weekend with a trip to see a princess.
Serenity Hennigar has brain cancer. The five-year-old was going to go to Disney World with the Children's Wish Foundation, but was too sick to travel.
On Saturday, she switched her hospital gown for a princess's dress and went to see Beauty and the Beast in Summerside.
Serenity said Belle is her favourite princess.
She and her grandmother, mother and sister said the Harbourfront Theatre show was a positive experience.
"It gave her something to look forward to and she'll have it to remember and think of when she's sad," said her mother, Christina MacNeill.
