Vandals broke into Jurassic Bart's Dinosaur Museum and stole this fossil. (Submitted)RCMP are investigating recent vandalism at Jurassic Bart's Dinosaur Museum in Cavendish, P.E.I.
Owner Bart Bourne says this is the third time in the last three years his business has been targeted.
Two special fossils were stolen, including one of a tiny dinosaur. Five display cases were smashed and windows and doors were broken.
"It is just so incredibly frustrating and if you could have heard me wander around that building, if you were outside, you would have heard me because I was angry, really, really angry and my wife was almost shaking she was so angry," said Bourne.
Bourne said the replica space shuttle on his property has been broken into twice and was damaged both times.
RCMP say over the past year, there have been three businesses broken into in the Cavendish area during the off season and three during the summer.
Bourne said he and his wife had become attached to the fossils and the robbery has left them heartbroken.
"Especially because of the one that meant so much to her and the one that meant so much to me," said Bourne. "They picked out the two best ones if they wanted to get under our skin."
Bourne will be installing security cameras to monitor his business.
