Following complaints about changes made in the spring to the way the federal government claws back employment income from people on EI, Ottawa is allowing some people to choose whether they use the old or new system.
Many have complained the new system leaves them with less money, and less incentive to work.
The CBC's Kerry Campbell explains the changes, as well as who gets to stick to the old system and who doesn't.
