The propane leak at the casino left dozens of people waiting in the parking lot for about 45 minutes. (CBC)
Charlottetown's Red Shores Racetrack and Casino was evacuated for about 45 minutes Friday morning due to a propane leak.
Dozens of people waited outside while a propane technician checked the tank located at the edge of the parking lot. Charlottetown fire officials said a small leak was detected, and the problem is being fixed.
People have been allowed back in the building.
