Federal and provincial energy ministers are in Charlottetown for a three-day conference.

Ministers will be discussing ways to work together on future energy development.

But a national energy strategy won't be on the agenda, according to federal Natural Resources Minister Joe Oliver.

A small group of hydro-fracking protestors showed up Sunday outside the Confederation Centre of the Arts to oppose the meetings.

They're hoping ministers will discuss clean and renewable energy.
