Last spring, after a couple of weeks turned into a month, and one month into two, I finally got a call from The Resort at Cavendish Corner.
The interview went great; I felt very comfortable talking to Marilyn Wood. She took me on a tour of the property and we had a great chat. When the interview came to a close I felt very confident and was really hoping to hear back about a full-time position.
A couple days later, on my birthday, Marilyn called to wish me a happy birthday and offer me the job. I have been working with a great group of people since early July.
On the downside this is seasonal work, though I look forward to the possibility of working for the Woods again next season. In the meantime it looks like I'll be filing for EI at the end of September.
