Make-a-Wish brings girl to P.E.I.

Hailey Albert, a huge fan of Anne of Green Gables, made it her wish to come visit P.E.I. (CBC)An 18-year-old from Dawson Creek, BC is spending the week on P.E.I. thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Canada.
Hailey Albert has a life-threatening genetic condition and is a big fan of Anne of Green Gables.
D'Lee Albert, Hailey's mom, said they were met at the airport and were taken through Kensington by limosine.
“There were people outside Kensington on the street, waving to us at you know 12 o’clock at night and a sign welcoming her in almost every window and we just really feel the love,” Albert said.
Hailey and her mother will be on the Island until this weekend.
