Car stolen from garage while homeowners asleep

Summerside police are investigating a break and enter in which a car was stolen from a home's garage while the homeowners slept early Tuesday morning.
The theft at the locked garage on Hillside Avenue occurred at around 6:30 a.m, said police.
The garage was entered by tearing out a side-door screen.
Keys for the vehicle were hanging up inside.
The stolen vehicle is a charcoal-coloured Toyota Matrix with P.E.I. licence plate number UK371.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
