Several barns at a dairy farm on P.E.I. were destroyed yesterday by fire.
The blaze broke out in a hay and straw barn at the Fortune Cove Dairy Farm during the day.
It spread from that structure, working its way to an adjacent dairy barn, destroying both.
Seven fire departments fought the flames and were able to save a home.
A third barn housing calves also caught fire. All the animals were safely removed.
