Country group Alabama will play the 2012 Cavendish Beach Music Festival. Country music super group Alabama will hit the stage at the 2012 Cavendish Beach Music Festival, organizers announced Friday.
Alabama will take to the stage on the Saturday of the three-day festival that runs from July 6 to 8.
The group has had 43 number one singles, sold more than 73 million records and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Dierks Bentley, who currently has a number-one country single in Canada called Home, was also named to the lineup, as were Chad Brownlee, Gord Bamford, The Eli Young Band, Dallas Smith, Whispering Bill Anderson and High Valley.
The organizers had already announced performances by Rascal Flatts and Dean Brody.
Last week it was revealed headliner Sugarland had pulled out of the festival.
More acts will be announced in the future.
