Kim Dolan rink heading for Scotties

Kim Dolan and her rink pose with the championship trophy. (P.E.I. Curling Association)After four days of competition, Kim Dolan and her rink won the P.E.I. Women's curling championship and will represent the Island at the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Red Deer, Alberta.
Dolan's team defeated the rink of Meaghan Hughes 6-4 in Monday night's provincial final at the Charlottetown Curling Club.
Dolan's team included her daughter Sinead as second, along with third Rebecca Jean MacDonald and lead Nancy Cameron.
"I just can't believe it," said Dolan.
"I've been at this game a long time and to win with my daughter and this team is just the icing on the cake, and all my dreams and goals have come true."
It's been 13 years since Dolan's last trip to the Scotties as a player. The last time she skipped her own team at the national championship was in 1992.
The Tournament of Hearts championship begins Feb. 18.
