Charlottetown police released a video Thursday of what they believe is a person spray-painting threats on Colonel Gray High School.
One week ago police were called to investigate threatening messages written on the school's outside walls.
"A kid will die if there is school today," said one message. "Which kid will die?" said another. Other notes containing profanities were directed at police.
The black and white video shows a person in dark clothing moving around the school. A vehicle drives by at one point.
"This video in particular may not be as high in quality as some of the others we've released," said Gary McGuigan, deputy police chief. "But we're hoping that somebody will see something that's familiar to them and will call, and that will help us identify the person in the video."
Police said the video suggests the person they are after is male and probably a student, wearing white sneakers, jeans and a backpack.
"We would like to put this to bed," said McGuigan. "We would like to know if this was a prank or if this was to get the day off school, and we would like to conclude this file."
If caught, the individual could face several charges.
"The threats, although they weren't aimed at any individuals, still did cause a disruption to the school," said McGuigan. "So, we would check with the Crown and check with the Criminal Code to see what's applicable."
