Trout Unlimited released 3,000 salmon into Charlottetown's North River Wednesday, but the group is still concerned about the overall health of the river.
The conservation group has been working on the river for years, but is battling against urban sprawl encroaching on the river, which flows into Charlottetown Harbour, and its watershed.
Trout Unlimited is also concerned about the city's need for more drinking water, and what happens if the city drills new wells.
