Police have a suspect in a stabbing at a beach party in western P.E.I. early Saturday.
'I felt a pain into the back.'— Dillan Millman, stabbing victim
Two Island men were stabbed, and another seriously assaulted at a party attended by about 100 people at Macdonald Shore in West Point just after midnight. Truck driver Dylan Millman, 29, was one of the two stabbing victims. Millman told CBC News the incident occurred while he was trying to help a friend who was drunk.
"I landed on top of him, people thought I was trying to beat him up, so they were trying to get me off," he said.
"I felt a pain into the back, and then I got up and then he came, stabbed me, and I never seen him after. I just want that guy behind bars."
Millman said he was stabbed once in the back and once in the side.
He was taken to Western Hospital in Alberton along with the two other men who were also injured. Millman was released Saturday morning after he was transferred to Summerside hospital for further tests.
Millman said he knows who stabbed him, but he's not friends with the man.
RCMP said they know the identity of the suspect, but he is not in custody.
