A 15-year old accused of smashing a stolen truck into the Summerside Library on Wednesday faces other charges for breaking and entering, say RCMP.
The 15-year-old, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been remanded to the local jail. He faces 13 charges related to Wednesday's incident and was in court in Georgetown Thursday to answer to more charges.
"He had five counts of break and enter and a theft under charge and a possession of stolen property that happened probably within the last month or so," Constable Julie Rix of Montague RCMP told CBC News.

The cleanup is continuing at the Summerside Rotary Library.
RCMP say the truck crashed into the library Wednesday morning while the driver was trying to escape police. The truck knocked a large hole in the wall and drove right into the stacks.
Jean Francois Savaria, the French language librarian, said about one-third of the library is still unusable. Fifteen people are cleaning up the debris left behind from the crash.
"We're taking up the carpet, taking down the shelves and all the stacks and putting the books in boxes and sending them to be cleaned because there is a lot of dirt there," said Savaria.
Savaria hopes to reopen the damaged section of the library late next week.
The teen accused of causing the damage will appear in court Monday to answer to 20 charges.
