NDP Leader Gary Robichaud says his party's health platform will focus on seniors, not numbers of doctors and nurses.
Robichaud says government should cover nursing home costs for all seniors. The government currently covers the costs of 70 per cent of seniors. Robichaud says the government should cover the remaining 30 per cent as well.
"We're not saying here that the Tories are being evil or awful. They're overlooking this," says Robichaud.
Robichaud says it would cost $7 million to cover the costs for all seniors in nursing homes.
