Luke's Change mocks conspiracy videos

The force is strong with this one.

A Charlottetown actor and comedian's satirical take on the Star Wars franchise is getting  a lot of attention on YouTube.

Graham Putnam parodies the popular conspiracy movie Loose Change, which suggests the 9/11 terrorist attacks were an inside job.

Putnam's mockumentary Luke's Change tries to uncover the real story of who destroyed the Death Star.

The video has been viewed more than a million times since he posted it on Monday.

Putnam said he made the short to poke fun at conspiracy videos.

"Back in the day I watched some of those conspiracy videos and they might have had a little bit of influence on me about 10 years ago. I've since moved away from that mindset a fair amount but I couldn't get over how manipulative the videos were, a lot of videos online that people make, and how easy it is to paint a picture, whatever message it is you want to say," he said

Putnam has garnered international media attention for his film which has been covered by Slate Magazine, Rome News Tribune and C-Net Australia.
