As storm after storm slams the Island, plow drivers in Charlottetown are struggling with where to put it all.

Clean-up crews have their hands full as they remove all that snow from city streets. In Charlottetown, crews are watching their snow dumping yard fill up fast.

"There's a lot more snow this year. Yeah, way more, double last year almost," said contractor Joey Hebert.

This winter has tested the city's snow removal system.

The second big dump this week means there's been no chance for old snow to melt, before new truck loads are dumped on top.

Gone are the days when the city had unlimited dumping space in Charlottetown harbour. Now, trucks haul snow to land the city leases from the province.
