Shannon MacAulay of Mount Herbert, P.E.I. has been invited to be part of Canada's under-22 women's hockey team.

Hockey Canada announced the 22-member team Sunday. MacAulay is one of 13 forwards on the development team. It plays three games against the U.S. in Calgary starting Thursday.

The 20-year-old MacAulay is a former member of Canada's under-18 team, and is about to start her third year with the Clarkson University team in Potsdam, N.Y. In March, MacAulay scored the winning goal in the decisive game that gave her school the NCAA championship.

This week's games will be streamed live on the Hockey Canada site.
