RCMP are searching for a man in the Bonshaw area, west of Charlottetown, who has been missing since late Wednesday after leaving a local health facility.
Police say forty-five-year-old Stephen MacPhee has been missing since late Wednesday. In a release RCMP say they have been in consultation with health officials who confirm that it is in the best interest of MacPhee to return to the facility.
RCMP spokesperson Sherry MacDougall says - in consultation with health officials - RCMP don't feel this is a dangerous situation, but members of the public are advised not to approach MacPhee if he is sighted.
Police are asking people to call 911, their local RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 if they see MacPhee.
He is described as approximately 5'6", 140-150 pounds with dark hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a sweatshirt with large white stripes.
