RCMP are warning drivers across the Island that secondary roads are ice covered this morning.

Police on P.E.I. are warning drivers across the Island that secondary roads are ice covered this morning. 

RCMP tweeting saying salt and sand trucks are out and cautions everyone to drive safely. 

P.E.I. received a mix of snow, ice pellets and freezing rain on Good Friday. 

The freezing rain warning was ended earlier this morning.
