Police investigate hit and run of 11-year-old boy
Police say the boy's injuries were not life-threatening
Charlottetown police are investigating a hit and run involving a child.
Police say an 11-year-old boy was crossing at a green light at the intersection of Euston and Weymouth streets at around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday when he was struck on the leg by a vehicle.
His injuries were not life-threatening.
The boy said he was struck by a dark green, two door, mid-sized vehicle. He said there was a child in the back seat.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
