Charlottetown police arrested a 67 year old man on Tuesday in connection with an incident involving swords.

Charlottetown police arrested a 67-year-old city man on Tuesday after receiving complaints that he was threatening people with three swords.

Police were called to a location on University Avenue. When they arrived, they arrested the man and he faces charges of assault with a weapon and uttering threats. Police also seized what they describe as three Samurai swords. 

No one was hurt.

The man was sent to the Provincial Correctional Centre. He will appear in court at a later date.
