P.E.I. woman, 63, dies after suffering accidental head injury
Police waiting on coroner's report
RCMP on Prince Edward Island say a 63-year-old woman has died following an accidental injury Saturday evening.
Officers responded to a 911 call from a woman in her home in Stratford.
She had suffered a blow to her head.
Police say the initial injury was not fatal.
But after experiencing complications, emergency workers took the woman to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she later died.
Police say they are waiting on a coroner's report to determine the exact cause of death.
