The watershed improvement group for Stratford, P.E.I. is organizing a bus tour of green, organic spaces in the area to encourage residents to grow chemical-free lawns and gardens.

Coordinator Kelly Arnold said the idea is to show off what's possible without artificial pesticides and applications of chemicals.

"We don't want to give too much away," said Arnold.

"There will be two chemical-free gardens - two wonderful residents have opened up their gardens for us to tour - and we'll be visiting a saltwater marsh and a beautiful woodland."

The tour will end at the Stratford Community Garden with refreshments and an opportunity to socialize.

The bus tour is Sunday at 1 p.m. starting from the Town Hall. Spaces are limited, so those interested are encouraged to book a seat.
