P.E.I. man to appear in court after O'Leary Legion car theft
The charges include impaired driving, driving while disqualified and possession of stolen property
A P.E.I. man is due in court today to face charges of stealing a car and impaired driving.
West Prince RCMP say they got a report Saturday that a man who appeared to be intoxicated had stolen a vehicle in O'Leary.
They allege the vehicle was taken from the parking lot at the O'Leary Legion.
Police say they later found the car in a snowbank.
A 38-year-old man was arrested and alleged to be almost three times over the legal alcohol limit.
He is facing charges of impaired driving, driving while disqualified, possession of stolen property, uttering threats, mischief and breach of probation.
