There will be no charges in the death of a Nova Scotia boy killed in an accident at a race track in P.E.I. Sunday.

Three-year-old Aiden MacKenzie of Dartmouth, N.S. died when he was struck by a pickup truck driven by his mother's boyfriend. The family was camping at the racetrack for the weekend while the man participated in the races.

Police say the driver had just brought his truck off the track and was returning to the campground. The boy was walking his bicycle close to his tent when he was hit.

Police said the driver could not see the boy. Neither speed nor alcohol are believed to have been factors in the accident.
