The New Democratic Party of P.E.I. will hold a series of public policy consultations starting at the end of this month.
They'll be held across Island on a range of topics, including health care, education, watersheds and responsible government. Information gathered will help the party put together its policies.
"It will certainly help us [and] be the base from which we build policy in the party," said Leader Mike Redmond.
"I think fundamentally one of the most important things that the NDP will do that the other parties won't do is listen to Islanders and engage Islanders and engage all communities across Prince Edward Island."
The first session will be on managing the province's watersheds, held on Jan. 30 in Cornwall. Further meetings will be announced on the party's website.
