Police on P.E.I. say they believe alcohol was a factor in an ATV crash that sent one man to hospital on Saturday night.
Queens District RCMP say they were called to the Riverdale Road late at night for a single-vehicle crash.
A 45-year-old Green Road man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with undetermined injuries.
Police say they think alcohol was a "major contributing factor."
"He was laying on the ground and he had blankets over him and I had like two or three firefighters and members of first responders that went and looked after his needs until the ambulance came. Then we helped package him and ship him out," said North River Fire Department Chief Kirby Wakelin
They're asking anyone with information to call police or Crime Stoppers.
