UPEI students looking to graduate this year will have an opportunity to meet with potential employers Tuesday.

About 16 businesses and associations will set up booths in the student centre for the annual UPEI career fair. Exhibitors include Biovectra and the Public Service Commission.

Upcoming graduates can drop off their resumes and cover letters to employers.

"We do have a connection with a lot of these businesses," said fair organizer Maxine MacLean.

"They may have come to the career fair in the past or they may be UPEI graduates themselves … or they're familiar with the capabilities of the UPEI graduates and students, so the whole idea is for us to make a connection with the employers to showcase the skills of our students and graduates."

The UPEI career fair starts at 10 a.m.
