Prices for petroleum products were down on P.E.I. in the regular mid-month price adjustment by the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission.

The gas price fell by 4.4 cents to a new price between $1.369 and $1.381 cents per litre for regular self-serve. That puts the price in the mid-range in the Maritimes, according to GasBuddy.com. Prices in Halifax Thursday morning were reported at $1.375, and in Fredericton at $1.339.

Furnace oil prices are down by 3.5 cents per litre, and diesel prices by 4.0 cents.

Propane prices were unchanged.

IRAC's next scheduled price adjustment will be on June 1.
