Fusion Charlottetown will launch its Winter Action campaign Saturday as a way to get more adults outside and active in winter.

Organization plans to hold winter activities over next three weeks

Fusion Charlottetown will launch its Winter Action campaign Saturday as a way to get more adults outside and active in winter.

The launch will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Founders Hall and will feature skating and outdoor games.

Fusion Charlottetown, a non-profit organization working to involve residents to in shaping the capital city's future, will be holding other winter activities over the next few weeks.

"Winter action, the campaign is all about getting people outside in the next couple of weeks," said member Vanessa Smith.

"It's so easy to stay in, stay on your couch. But we want people to really get outside, get active and enjoy our city."

Other events over the next few weeks for Winter Action including skiing, hiking, snowshoeing and speed skating.
