Fire damage to Greenvale home too extensive to determine cause
Homeowner had taken dog outside and when she returned, saw the kitchen in flames
The provincial fire marshal's office has wrapped up its investigation into a fire last month that destroyed a home in Greenvale, but was unable to determine the cause of the fire because there was too much damage.
The woman who lived in the home wasn't injured as she had taken her dog outside at around midnight and noticed flames coming from the kitchen.
The house was a total loss, and the Red Cross helped the woman with emergency lodging, food and clothing.
