Three fire departments responded to a call overnight Thursday that destroyed a business on P.E.I.'s North Shore.

Thirty-five firefighters worked in bitterly cold weather to knock back the flames at Joe Dunphy Custom Woodworking along Highway 2 in Morell. The automatic alarm was called in at 12:48 a.m.

The business specialized in cabinets for kitchens, bathrooms, and general storage.

The fire marshal was on scene Friday and says the building is a total loss.
